Contracts for Clubs

Clubs that wish to use Indian Creek Fast CAT for their Fast CAT Test have their choice of two plans. Both plans require little work from busy club members, since our field will be set up for you.

PLAN A:

Cost: $10/dog entered, and $2/dog practice runs or a flat fee of $800/day

INCLUDES:

· Fenced field with ample parking, directional signs and a parking director.

· Fast CAT track with 75 yard run-out/catch area, safe for the fastest sighthounds (this track remains in the shade all morning and early afternoon and has a slight downslope.

· Timing gates and back-up timing devices

· Lure operator, Susan Kirkman, with 40 years of lure coursing practice.

· Injoy Lure machine and pulleys, string and lures—we can use it as a continuous loop, or drag lure. (Please be aware that drag lure takes longer, since the track must be restrung after each dog)

· 10’ x 20’ pipe awning for registration with 2 tables, chairs, and tissues for inspection

· 2 pop-up shelters for time keepers and record keepers with one table and chairs

· Baby pools and water to cool the competitors

· Walkie-talkies for communication among workers

· Sound system for announcements and music, if desired

· 6 – 8 RV spots with 30-amp electricity and water hook-ups available to competitors at $50/night

· 1 RV hook-up with water and electricity for club use at no charge

· Gas grill and fire pits for relaxing after the trial

· 2 port-a-potties

· Advertising on our website and Facebook page

All this will be set up and ready for you an hour before your trial begins.

We have a photographer that works with us, as well as local food trucks if you would like us to arrange this for you.

Your club will collect all the fees, handle the premiums, entries, paperwork and AKC per-capita fees, provide insurance for the event, and ribbons. Your club must also provide the necessary 5 workers required by AKC. The lure operator comes with the machine!.

PLAN B:

Cost: $18/dog and $2/practice run, or flat fee of $1300/day

This plan includes everything in Plan A, but Indian Creek Fast CAT will create the premium, handle the entries, supply ribbons with our name and logo, pay the AKC per capita fee, and report the results to AKC. You club provides only the event insurance, and the 5 volunteers required by AKC. Your club will receive copies of all the AKC paperwork and spreadsheets of dogs entered.

We strive to provide an efficient and fun event for the volunteers and the competitors. Sue has 40+ years of experience with showing, and lure coursing and Jay has owned and operated Indian Creek K9 Aquatics for 10 years, providing world class events.

If you would like to schedule a social event at our facility for your club, contact us and we can work something out to meet your needs.

I am also available to judge CAT/CABT for your event, or lure operate with my machine, or yours.

We would love to demonstrate our Southern hospitality for your next event.
